這份獎學金對我而言，是金錢與精神層面的雙重支持，讓我知道在研究上除了努力，也要大膽的嘗試。由於我的題目是水下機器人技術，是相對冷僻的研究，即使這在台灣是相對未發展的領域，我們團隊仍得到肯定，表示只要有好成果還是能獲得伯樂賞識。這個獎項帶給我自信，讓我在研究和創新研發的道路走得更加堅定，期盼能找到自己的一片藍海。

The CTCI award is always in my heart because this award helps me to reach high position in my university. Many people said, I make proud my professor, my university and my lab because I got the honor from CTCI. I got this award when I was doing my PhD final year, right now I become Assistant professor in the same university. I believe the CTCI award strongly support my career and I proud to be a CTCI scholarship holder of 2015. I wish CTCI will continue to honor and Help the students. If I get the chance, I wish to share my experience to encourage the students for this award!

2015年秋天，當時我大學三年級，在成功大學化工系跟隨張嘉修教授做專題，研究利用微藻培養技術來改善溫室效應的可能性。當時向中技社申請了創意獎學金，心想是一個練習上台表達作品以及撰寫計畫書的好機會，但沒有想到自己竟然會得獎！日後我一直很感激當時能擁有這樣的機會，讓我對環境保護研究更加有信心。
現在我在美國的Google Earth Engine團隊擔任軟體工程師，開發衛星影像處理平台，供學者研究環境變遷的議題使用，並利用數據分析及地圖視覺化來提供大眾環境保護相關的資訊。中技社多年來持續寄發社刊及研討會邀請，雖然我人在海外，無法時常參與，但我的家人都有感受到中技社的熱忱與關懷！

I was humbled, proud, and honored to receive such recognition from CTCI Foundation, which is one of the leading figures of new technologies, research, and development in Taiwan, for my strong track record and passion in academic research across chemical engineering and materials science disciplines.
I dedicate this award to my parents for their continuous support and to all my dear friends (Suryadi and Felycia) and colleagues in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya (WMCUS) and Taiwan Tech, which provided me with a full scholarship and all the necessary facilities and invaluable advices during my four years of PhD study. Since I received this prestigious award, I continue to learn new knowledge and skills from different disciplines and put my best effort in conducting innovative and interdisciplinary research with a significant impact, particularly for the environment and society.
This award is also an important impetus for me to realize my dream in pursuing a professional career in academia and setting up my own research group in future, either in Taiwan or my home country. In line with this, receiving the award boosts my confidence and inspires me to keep raising the bar in conducting high-quality original research.

能夠從眾多競爭者中脫穎而出獲得獎學金，對我而言是極大的鼓勵，更肯定了我的研究題材。獲獎後我也順利以該題目自博士班畢業，並持續在學術界發展所長。若沒有中技社研究獎的肯定，或許我早已改行，因此我認為獎學金對學生有莫大的幫助，也對學術圈有良好的影響，非常開心能有這樣的機會參與其中。
